Comfort isn’t guaranteed when it comes to safety and productivity, but Miller Electric has excelled on all three points with its new Face Shield Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).

In fact, the new Miller Face Shield PAPR System was designed to keep users comfortable so safety gear stays on — even in the most extreme applications.

Miller's Face Shield PAPR System enhances comfort and visibility to increase all-day wear by offering:

• All-day comfort – An exclusive patent-pending Dualtec™ manifold system with six adjustable air vents and three speeds allows users to customize their airflow and helps reduce dry eyes and nose. The integrated shoulder straps reduce lower back strain and fatigue. And the ergonomic one-touch flexible headgear design provides customizable secure fit and enhanced comfort.

• Improved productivity – A lightweight, low-profile breathing tube attachment is positioned at the bottom of the neck instead of the top of the head, staying flat against the user’s back for unrestricted movement.

• Enhanced visibility – High Definition View (HDV) technology provides users with a sharp, detailed view at any angle without distortion.

• Lightweight components – The face shield head assembly weighs just under 27 ounces. The lightweight well-balanced design reduces neck torque, minimizing operator fatigue and strain leading to an increase in comfort.

In addition, the blower with High-Efficiency Particulate Air Filter (HEPA) filter weighs just three pounds and can run on high speed for 8 hours per charge. The HEPA filter protects against solid dust particles, metal fumes, and mists.

The rechargeable battery has 500 uses and the Face Shield PAPR package system comes with two batteries to help reduce downtime.
