Fluxes

Flux is designed to remove surface oxides that will impede the adhesive bond formed when soldering or brazing.  There are different fluxes for different heat ranges (Melting point) of filler metals. It is important to match the proper flux with the correct filler metal. Each filler metal has a different melting point based on the application being used.
