Capable of conforming to concave, flat or irregular surfaces, SAIT’s Grind & Finish Interleaf Linear Wheel is excellent at blending, cleaning welds and removing corrosion, rust, or scaling. More agressive than a non-woven linear wheel, this wheel features interleaf flaps of abrasive grain. Best for creating grain, antique, matte and satin finishes, finishing aluminum extrusions and applying an inline brushed finish on aluminum and stainless steel. Must be used on burnisher equipment; not for use on traditional right angle grinders. This wheel offers better performance at slower speeds and fine grades have a coarser effect at low speed while coarse grades have a finer effect at high speed.
