Tillman's 1018 stick welding gloves are constructed with slightly select shoulder split cowhide, which is specifically engineered to withstand the intense heat generated during stick welding, balancing durability with softness to ensure comfort during extended use. The 1018's extra-long 14″ design delivers essential forearm protection against sparks, spatter and intense radiant heat while maintaining mobility. A protective cotton/foam lined back provides additional heat insulation and the unlined palm allows dexterity. Welted seams protect stitching from abrasion and heat damage, and the reinforced thumb provides added grip strength in a key stress area.
