Optrel's Helix helmet series was designed to remove all the negatives associated with traditional flips. This was achieved by utilizing Optrel’s patented technology and the creation of a new slide-up lens cartridge. Operators can seamlessly switch between welding and grinding by simply rotating the large dial on the side of the helmet. The internal slide up feature allows the lens to stay protected, minimizes the helmet’s profile and provides users with an unobstructed view of their environment.
The Helix CLT 2.0 contains Optrel's Crystal Lens Technology, setting a new standard for clarity and color perception. Not only does the Crystal Lens offer unmatched visibility, it also boasts up to 6x the viewing area compared to standard 2 x 4.25 lens. The Helix CLT 2.0 also comes with IsoFit headgear designed specifically for the Helix helmet series featuring a three-position Position Locker and integrated hard hat adapter, and a removable hard hat, which provides added safety and versatility.
With the Helix CLT 2.0 you’re prepared for all welding tasks that require a large field of vision and frequent switching between transparent and protective filters. With a light state of 2.0 and a shade range from 4 to 12, it’s the ideal choice for a wide range of applications. The hard hat meets the standard ANSI/ISEA 789.1 for Class C (conductive, no electrical protection) Type 1 (designed to reduce impact from a blow only to the top of the head).
