Steiner's New IronFlex TIG Gloves Take PPE to the Next Level
May 24th 2021
Steiner Industries has added three new styles to its popular IronFlex® TIG line of premium TIG welding gloves.
The new styles (0261, 0261CR, 0265) incorporate many of the features TIG welders have come to know and love from Steiner’s ergonomic IronFlex® TIG gloves such as premium kidskin palms, leather reinforced rest patch and SensiTIG™ seamless index finger.
In addition, the 0261 and 0261CR offer a multi-layered yet breathable flame-resistant* (FR) cotton backing, keystone thumbs for a natural feel and shirred elastic wrists with slip-on cuffs.
And the 0261CR adds another layer of protection with its cut resistant para-aramid lining, designed especially for TIG welding and metal fabricating. The 0261CR has an ANSI ISEA Cut Level A6.
New to the Pro-Series IronFlex® TIG is the 0265, which offers a stretchable poly lining and reverse grain kidskin back that hugs the hand for a superb fit and feel. The 0265 has a straight thumb for the best gun grip and an adjustable elastic cuff with a hook and loop closure for a quick, secure fit and easy removal.
Each of the new IronFlex® TIG gloves features an unlined palm for maximum feel and dexterity and premium kidskin leather that is soft and durable. Ergonomically designed to reduce fatigue, IronFlex® TIG gloves have rest patch side reinforcement to ease movement and protect the side of the glove. All IronFlex® TIG gloves are made with durable lock stitching with flame resistant Kevlar® thread for added strength.
Perhaps the most important feature of Steiner’s IronFlex® TIG gloves is the SensiTIG™ seamless index finger that provides enhanced feel and sensitivity, which is essential to precision TIG welding.
With 7 styles of IronFlex® TIG gloves available, Steiner is sure to have the right combo of features to help take your TIG welding to the next level. In all, Steiner offers 15 styles of IronFlex® gloves, such as Ultimate, Advantage and Polar, among others, to ensure you have the best gloves for the right job. *FR (flame-resistant) garments are light weight breathable protection that is mainly used for light welding, cutting, and grinding. 'Flame-resistant' means when a spark(s) lands on the garment, the garment will extinguish itself (it won’t continue to burn) and sometimes the spark can create a hole on the garment. Consider leather for full protection for applications that are more than light-duty welding, cutting, and grinding.
