One of the special features of the Ensitech TIG Brush is that it can be used to quickly and easily print on or engrave stainless steel.

All models of the TIG Brush (TBE 440, TBE 550 and TBE 700) have settings for marking and etching, and all you’ll need to get started is the TIG Brush Marking and Etching Kit.

Some of the reasons for making identifying marks are:

• Logos
• Part numbers
• Barcodes
• Asset identification
• Recording of maintenance work 

Permanently marking stainless steel is fast and easy with the kit. The process uses a special branding head (a solid electrode) in place of a brush, combined with a felt pad and appropriate fluid.

Those familiar with cleaning welds with the TIG Brush will find the branding procedure similar:

• The product being marked is grounded with the TIG Brush black cable.
• The branding head is attached to an adaptor that fits into the TIG Brush red cable.
• A small piece of felt is wrapped around the head and secured with a heat-resistant O-ring.
• The felt-covered head is dipped into the special fluid, TB-90 for marking or TB-95 for etching (sold separately).
• After 20 seconds of passing the branding head over the stencil, the marking or etching is complete.
• Apply TB-50 finishing fluid (sold separately) for a bright, fingerprint resistant finish.
