It's the perfect combination of comfort without sacrificing protection or durability. The jacket also features silver FR reflective tape, with an "X" design on back for hi-visibility, and a pass-through for fall harness on the back. This jacket is made from 9 ounce FR cotton in the body with side split cowhide sleeves. **NOTE: FR (flame-resistant) garments are light weight breathable protection that is mainly used for light welding, cutting, and grinding. 'Flame-resistant' means when a spark(s) lands on the garment, the garment will extinguish itself (it won’t continue to burn) and sometimes the spark can create a hole on the garment. Consider leather for full protection for applications that are more than light-duty welding, cutting, and grinding.
