The Black Stallion JF2045-HY is loaded with safety-compliant features, while keeping you warmer on the job. It meets ANSI/ISEA 107-2020 Type R, Class 3 standards for high visibility protection. It offers flash fire hazard protection (test to NFPA 2112). It provides arc flash hazard protection (tested to NFPA 70E). It is tested to retain protective properties through 100 home washings. **NOTE: FR (flame-resistant) garments are light weight breathable protection that is mainly used for light welding, cutting, and grinding. 'Flame-resistant' means when a spark(s) lands on the garment, the garment will extinguish itself (it won’t continue to burn) and sometimes the spark can create a hole on the garment. Consider leather for full protection for applications that are more than light-duty welding, cutting, and grinding.
