The Black Stallion F9-36C flame resistant cotton welding jacket is a 36" length (6" longer than Black Stallion's standard welding jacket), for enhanced torso protection. The 9 oz. flame-resistant treated cotton offers reliable protection for light welding applications. This welder's jacket has six convenient snap buttons, including collar button, that are leather reinforced on the back. A scribe pocket holds welding pencils, soapstone, and paint markers, and an inside pocket keeps small items secure. **NOTE: FR (flame-resistant) garments are light weight breathable protection that is mainly used for light welding, cutting, and grinding. 'Flame-resistant' means when a spark(s) lands on the garment, the garment will extinguish itself (it won’t continue to burn) and sometimes the spark can create a hole on the garment. Consider leather for full protection for applications that are more than light-duty welding, cutting, and grinding.
