The Black Stallion JF3530 AR/FR zip-up hooded sweatshirt provides warmth and FR protection for a variety of industrial and welding applications. Flame resistant with welders collar and removable hood. *Intended to be used as part of a layered warmth/FR system. It is recommended that a welding jacket be worn over the Hooded Sweatshirt for maximum protection when welding. **NOTE: FR (flame-resistant) garments are light weight breathable protection that is mainly used for light welding, cutting, and grinding. 'Flame-resistant' means when a spark(s) lands on the garment, the garment will extinguish itself (it won’t continue to burn) and sometimes the spark can create a hole on the garment. Consider leather for full protection for applications that are more than light-duty welding, cutting, and grinding.
