This extra coarse grit disc is ideal for work on aluminum, cast iron, fiberglass and masonry, and it doesn't shed or snag when you're working on rusty pieces. The Rapid Strip material provides aggressive performance over an extended period, and the ceramic grain is twice as fast and consistent as silicon carbide discs. This extremely versatile disc is stiff enough to stand up to abuse, but soft enough to prevent gouging and rework. Apply some pressure to strip or remove coatings or lighter pressure for finishes like a surface finishing disc. Can be used on its edge for blending weld root forms. Package of 10.
