The BSX® FR Cotton and Cowhide Hybrid Welding Jacket features an innovative (and exclusive) back ventilation system to keep you cooler and more comfortable as the job heats up. Reinforced with an internal support system, the vent allows heated air to escape. The movement of heated air out of the jacket allows for cooler air to enter, keeping the wearer more comfortable, while maintaining all the protection needed in a welding jacket.**NOTE: FR (flame-resistant) garments are light weight breathable protection that is mainly used for light welding, cutting, and grinding. 'Flame-resistant' means when a spark(s) lands on the garment, the garment will extinguish itself (it won’t continue to burn) and sometimes the spark can create a hole on the garment. Consider leather for full protection for applications that are more than light-duty welding, cutting, and grinding.
