Cotton fiber finishing discs are constructed of multiple layers of cotton fiber impregnated with aluminum oxide. The multi-layer disc configuration provides longer life than coated abrasive discs, outlasting coated discs 10 to 1 for less downtime and increased productivity. The cotton fiber abrasive material will not smear on titanium and stainless steel. SAIT-LOK-R quick change discs have a nylon screw threaded hub for easy mounting to the backing pad. Use 3” Medium backing pad #95173 or 3” Hard backing pad #95273. See additional images for information on the variety of grits available and their applications.
