TurboTorch 0386-1370 Nitrogen Purge Kit

TurboTorch 0386-1370 Nitrogen Purge Kit includes 245 - 03P nitrogen regulator, blowgun, 6' hose, 3' hose, turbo tornado tip, 3/4" cone plug, 1/2" cone plug, needle tip, tire chuck and CO2 adapter. It can be used for purging lines prior to brazing, leak testing, cleaning components and coils, flushing drainage lines and inflating tires applications. When brazing copper, it is imperative to purge with nitrogen in order to minimize or eliminate oxidation that results from heating the copper pipe. Without purging, oxidation will occur and the oxidized flakes that result can and will break off and flow through the system, damaging bearings and fouling system filters. All that is needed is a low pressure, low volume flow of nitrogen. The use of dry nitrogen gas also minimizes the need to evacuate moisture from the system.
